DP, Editor, Director

Chad Carter is a Florida based DP, Director and Editor. He has always been fascinated with non-verbal, visual communication, and works to inject his projects with as much visual information as possible through the targeted use of lighting, color, framing, shot selection and camera movement.

“The camera is such a powerful tool, in that it allows its operator to make small choices which can have huge impact. Even on projects that don’t have much lead time, or where I don’t have much control over the action, there are still plenty of choices I can make to impact how the audience views the scene”. 

To date, his clients include Red Bull Media House, Studio60/CBSi, PGA Tour, NASCAR, Interpret Studios/Atlas Obscura, ABC News, Good Morning America and others.

“Strong collaboration is the key to any quality project. In nearly two decades of shooting, editing, producing and directing projects I’ve never seen success in a vacuum. You need individual talent, but those talents are wasted if the individuals don’t work as a team towards a common goal”.
